• 2 July 2014The urban features that I come across during everyday journey to work, which locates in the Oxford Circus are much to consume in about 30 minutes of the journey time. The discontinuous changes between not too distant two locations leads to various shifts, from Hackney to Westminster, from unfiltered to filtered, from a chaos to a bigger chaos, from natural to pretentious, from affordable to unaffordable…and so on. Once the first transition of the day, from Hackney to Westminster, is made my mindset is locked into boredom. Waiting for lunchtime where my free time is guaranteed and hunting for food, cheap but nice. One hour of forced freedom is many of ours’ happy hour. Then again, I wait for this to be ended. The second transition of the day is getting back to where I come from. This time, I come across the same urban features in reverse for 30 minutes.

  27 December 2012One of the strongest points of writing is its speed. You can express ideas and feelings quickly and probably more understandable way than other forms. Other forms like sculptures and paintings may not suitable for the current, speedy consuming habit, which requires rapid reaction and abandonment. Possibly language is the strongest media to that effect. — 언어의 좋은 점은 나의 생각이나 감정을 가장 손쉽게 기록에 남길수 있기 때문이다. 조각이나 회화로의표현이 2차적인 생성물이 되어 버린 동시대미술 에서 빠른 시대에 반응하는, 어쩌면 언어는 가장 강력한 표현 방법이라는 생각이다.
