Sandpaper

Artists need to be alike strong and sharp sandpaper. The attitude that is keep making marks from endless friction between the world and oneself is vital. If an artist hurried or lost flexibility, what whom will become is smooth surfaced sandpaper, which is deprived of its function, in other words no longer an artist.

예술가가 스스로 강력하고 날카로운 사포같은 존재가 되어야 한다. 끊임없이 세상과 마찰을 일으키며 흔적을 만들려는 자세가 중요하다. 서두르거나 유연성을 잃고 그역할을 잃어버려 반듯한 면만 남았을때 더이상 예술가가 아니다.
